Hi, my site is stuck in Maintenance mode. I was updating plugins and not sure what happened. What do I do?

Hi Nick, so when you update plugins, WordPress puts the site into Maintenance mode, thus adding a file in the root of your installation called .maintenance. This is to ensure that there are no conflicts and the plugins update successfully.

On the rare chance that WordPress gets stuck in Maintenance, which is what looks like happened in your case, all you need to do is access your files via FTP or file manager in your cPanel and delete this file (.maintenance)

Then access the site again and you should have no issues.

Hope that helps!
